Privacy Policy
How Mom's LaundryMat collects, uses, and protects your information.
Last updated: July 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Moms Laundrymat Corp ("Mom's LaundryMat," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit momslaundrybk.com (the "Site") or use our laundry, wash & fold, and pickup & delivery services (the "Services"). By using the Site or Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you create an account, schedule a pickup, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, service and delivery address, order details and preferences, account login credentials, and any messages you send us. If you register a business account, we also collect your business name and contact details.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly with Stripe and is not stored on our servers. We receive limited details such as a payment confirmation and the last four digits of your card.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our analytics/advertising partners may collect device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, and interactions, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Information from third parties. We may receive address suggestions from Google Maps/Places when you type your address, and payment or fraud-prevention signals from Stripe.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, schedule, and deliver our Services, and manage your account and orders.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Send you transactional messages — order confirmations, pickup and delivery updates, and receipts — by text and email.
- Send you promotional messages (offers, news) by email and text, where you have consented (see Sections 3 and 4).
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Measure and improve the Site and our advertising, including Google Analytics and Google Ads (see Section 5).
- Maintain security and comply with legal obligations.
3. Email Communications
We send transactional emails related to your orders. With your consent, we also send promotional emails about offers and updates. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the "unsubscribe" link in the email or by contacting us. You will still receive transactional emails necessary for your orders.
4. Text Messages (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number, we send transactional texts about your pickups and deliveries. With your consent, we may also send promotional texts. Consent to promotional texts is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of that program, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and understand and improve how the Site is used. Our partners include:
- Google Analytics — to measure Site traffic and usage.
- Google Ads — to measure the performance of our ads (conversion tracking) and, potentially, to show relevant ads.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on, and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal; because there is no common standard, we do not currently respond to it.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business, with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure database, accounts, and hosting), Twilio (text messages), Resend (email), Google Maps/Places (address lookup), Cloudflare (bot/spam protection), and Google Analytics/Google Ads (analytics and advertising).
- Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect our rights, customers, or the public.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business.
7. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices & Rights
You can review and update your account information, opt out of promotional email (unsubscribe) and text (reply STOP), and request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. To make a request, email us at the address below.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site and Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
Our Site may link to other websites (for example, News 12, Google, or social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
